AfrophoneWikis

AfrophoneWikis was set up in mid-2006 by Martin Benjamin and me as "a discussion group on developing Wikipedias in African languages." It is a Yahoogroup, and also has a page on Wikimedia's Meta-Wiki.

I contribute regularly to it (although less in recent years), so it is probably easier just to provide a link to the list archives as long as these are available. Efforts are underway with help from Etienne Ruedin to find a new solution for this group before the Yahoogroup shutdown..
