Contributions to AcronymFinder
Some years ago, I took an interest in the development of the AcronymFinder website as a resource for deciphering various acronyms and abbreviations. I came across in the course of a contract job with ICRISAT in 1999. Over the years, intermittently, I contributed various acronyms that I was familiar with but were missing from their list. These concerned among other things, the Baha'i Faith, international agriculture research, information technology, and organizations in Africa.
I'm listed on their site among the contributors of "at least 50 acronyms/abbreviations and definitions." I suspect the actual number of my contributions may number in the hundreds, but I never kept count.
