Some years ago, I took an interest in the development of the AcronymFinder  website as a resource for deciphering various acronyms I came across in the course of my work. In the process I also contributed various acronyms that I was familiar with but were missing from their list. These concerned among other things, the Baha'i Faith, international agriculture research, information technology, and organizations in Africa.
